VirtualConsole

Overview

As part of our commitment to providing the best presetting system available, we are continually developing new features to enhance our system. The new VirtualConsole™ is our latest addition.

VirtualConsole™ allows the operator live control of the press ink keys and sweep speeds from the OPS touch screen computer. The operator is presented with a full-color view of the running job with a bar graph overlay for each fountain showing the current ink key positions.

With most earlier make consoles, the operator must hold down the ink move buttons on the console until the desired opening is reached. This can take time on presses with slow key actuators, and on some consoles (particularly Harris Telecolors) this can lead to operator fatigue and repetitive stress injuries. With VirtualConsole™, the operator can make the moves rapidly on the touch screen for each fountain, and, with the touch of the RUN button, VirtualConsole™ will start moving the ink keys while the operator goes on to other business.
